Troye Sivan New Album: She’s the Best Release Date, “Party” and More
Troye Sivan new album She’s the Best is scheduled to arrive on October 9, 2026, marking the Australian pop star’s fourth studio album. Sivan has already released the title track and his latest single, “Party,” giving fans an early look at the music and themes behind his next era.
The upcoming record follows his 2023 album Something to Give Each Other and comes after a major period of international touring, including his 2024 SWEAT Tour with Charli XCX. In a September 2026 interview, Sivan also discussed loneliness after touring, femininity, creative influences and the ideas that shaped the new project.
When is Troye Sivan’s new album coming out?
The Troye Sivan new album She’s the Best is scheduled for release on October 9, 2026.
It will be Sivan’s fourth studio album and his first full-length project since Something to Give Each Other, which was released in 2023.
The album announcement came in August after a series of cryptic teasers from Sivan. The title track was released at the same time as the album announcement, officially beginning the new musical era.
The official album store currently lists She’s the Best for October 9 and says the tracklist is still to be announced. That means unofficial tracklists circulating online should not automatically be treated as confirmed.
What is Troye Sivan’s new album about?
The Troye Sivan new album appears to explore both the outward energy of pop performance and more personal experiences away from the stage.
Sivan explained in a recent Rolling Stone interview that his previous album came from a period when he felt highly connected to the world around him. But the years that followed brought extensive touring and a different emotional experience.
After performing for large audiences, Sivan said he could return to a hotel room alone and experience a strong sense of loneliness.
That contrast helped shape She’s the Best.
The singer described the album as containing a high-energy side alongside songs that feel closer to his internal thoughts. The result is expected to move between dance-focused pop and more reflective material.
What is Troye Sivan’s new song “Party”?
“Party” is the latest single from the Troye Sivan new album.
The song was released on September 18, 2026, and focuses on the feeling of getting lost in a night out.
Sivan has connected the song to his experiences with dance culture while growing up in Melbourne. He also wanted the track to recreate the repetitive, hypnotic feeling of hearing dance music in a real club or on a dance floor.
One of the song’s most recognizable elements is a sample from Madonna’s 2000 hit “Music.”
“Party” also features contributions from several collaborators, including Luka Kloser, Elvira Anderfjärd, Tove Burman, Leland, Tyde Levi, Rob Feher and Styalz Fuego.
The release has an additional family connection because Tyde Levi, Sivan’s brother, is involved in the track. Universal Music describes it as the first official release between the two siblings.
Who is in the “Party” music video?
The “Party” video takes a historical approach to nightlife rather than presenting a conventional modern pop setting.
Directed by Gordon von Steiner, the video was filmed at a castle in Berkeley, England.
Sir Ian McKellen provides the voice featured in the visual.
The collaboration has a personal history. McKellen first worked with Sivan when Sivan was around 14 years old in a production of Waiting for Godot in Perth.
Sivan has said that seeing an openly gay and successful man at that stage of his life had a lasting impact on him. The new collaboration therefore connects Sivan’s early experiences with the themes surrounding the new song.

What is “She’s the Best” about?
The album’s title track was released in August as the first preview of the project.
The song focuses on admiration for a woman and the qualities that make her special to Sivan.
Its music video stars Australian actress Nicole Kidman and also includes a cameo from Charli XCX.
Sivan and Kidman previously worked together on the 2018 film Boy Erased. That connection eventually led to Kidman becoming part of the visual campaign for the new song.
The track also introduces one of the broader themes running through the album: Sivan’s relationship with femininity and the women who have influenced his life.
Why is Troye Sivan talking about femininity?
Sivan has spoken openly about how his understanding of femininity has changed over time.
In his recent interview, he discussed growing up with feelings surrounding feminine expression that he did not always know how to accept. His current work reflects a more comfortable relationship with those aspects of his identity.
That theme is particularly relevant to She’s the Best, because the album’s title track is built around admiration and the feminine influence in Sivan’s life.
Rather than treating the topic as a separate subject, Sivan has connected it to his music, performance and the spaces where he feels free to express himself.
What does Charli XCX have to do with Troye Sivan?
Charli XCX has been an important part of Sivan’s recent creative period.
The two artists co-headlined the 2024 SWEAT Tour, which brought together Sivan’s Something to Give Each Other era and Charli’s Brat era.
Charli also appears in the music video for “She’s the Best.”
Sivan has continued to speak positively about their creative relationship. In his September 2026 interview, he discussed the experience of touring with Charli and the intensity of the period surrounding his previous album.
However, there is an important distinction for people searching for current tour information.
A new 2026 SWEAT Tour has not been confirmed in the sources reviewed.
The current focus is the release of She’s the Best.

What happened after Something to Give Each Other?
Sivan’s previous studio album, Something to Give Each Other, arrived in 2023.
The project included songs such as “Rush,” “Got Me Started” and “One of Your Girls.”
It became an important chapter in Sivan’s international career and was followed by extensive touring.
The singer later joined Charli XCX for the 2024 SWEAT Tour, which became one of the most visible pop tours of that period.
Now, the Troye Sivan new album represents the next phase of his career.
Instead of simply repeating the sound and aesthetic of Something to Give Each Other, Sivan has described She’s the Best as a broader and more personal project.
What makes She’s the Best different?
The first two singles already show some of that contrast.
“She’s the Best” is centered on admiration, femininity and personal influence.
“Party,” meanwhile, focuses on nightlife, dance music and the collective feeling of losing yourself in a crowd.
Sivan has described the album as containing both bombastic, high-energy material and quieter songs that reflect his inner thoughts.
That combination could make the full record more varied than simply another dance-pop project.
The complete tracklist, however, has not yet been officially announced by the artist’s store, so conclusions about individual unreleased songs should wait until more information becomes available.
What does the Troye Sivan new album mean for international fans?
The Troye Sivan new album has an international profile from the beginning.
Sivan is an Australian artist with a substantial audience outside Australia, while the new campaign already involves collaborators and locations from different parts of the entertainment world.
The “Party” video was filmed in England, while the song draws on Sivan’s Melbourne experiences. The project also connects music with film, fashion, nightlife and queer culture.
For listeners in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Europe, India and other international markets, the confirmed release date remains October 9, 2026.
